I love it when you choose to add an engagement shoot (or pre-wedding shoot – call it what you like!). It’s a brilliant way for us to hang out, get to know each other, and give you a feel for how I work before the big day. No pressure, no awkward posing – just a fun, relaxed session that ends with some great photos you'll want to keep forever. Not everyone goes for one, but if you’re up for it, it’s always a good laugh and totally worth it.

WHAT IS A REASONABLE AMOUNT TO SPEND ON A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
My full day packages start from £1,795, and half day packages start from £1,195.
HOW LONG IS REASONABLE TO WAIT FOR WEDDING PHOTOS?
Usually 3 to 4 weeks in the quieter months, and 4 to 10 weeks in the busy wedding season. I'll always aim to get your photos to you as soon as I can.
IS 4 HOURS ENOUGH TIME FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
My half day package covers 4 hours, which is where my packages start, but that only covers part of a wedding day. For full coverage, from getting ready through to the first dance, my full day package covers 10 hours.
WHY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE SO EXPENSIVE?
Equipment is only a small part of this but, the biggest reasons are, experience, a creative eye, the ability to adapt to all lighting and weather conditions, and your experience from enquiry to photos being delivered.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes, I have business insurance which includes public liability.
DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Yes. I carry spares of everything I need on the day, just in case, so nothing gets missed.
HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I EXPECT?
It depends on your day, how many guests you have and how much is planned, but for a half day (4 hours) you can expect around 300 to 700 photos, and for a full day (10 hours) around 700 to 1,100.
