Runa Farm, is a rustic-inspired hotel, country pub and wedding venue with its natural rural beauty with cool Balearic, boho vibes which is unique.

Runa Farm is a laid-back but luxurious County Durham country retreat, with cool glamping and field-to-fork dining inviting people to gather, feast, stay and enjoy every part of this amazing venue.

The Runa Farm Chapel is the hidden gem, an entirely unique one, which I can't wait to photograph, its smooth polished stone walls and shimmering lanterns just make for a perfect romantic wedding ceremony.

The Old Barn is for your wedding reception and wedding breakfast, with a fabulous timber and exposed stone building brimming with character everywhere you look.

MY APPROACH & STYLE

My photographic approach combines conventional and photojournalistic elements in a way that captures both candid and humorous moments as well as the pictures that help guide your wedding day. My approach to every wedding is, of course, professional, but in a relaxed and fun, enjoyable way. I think that doing so makes everyone feel as at ease and comfortable as possible in front of the camera.

In order to capture both natural and amusing moments as well as the planned photos that assist tell the story of your wedding day, my photography technique mixes traditional and photojournalistic aspects. I always approach every wedding professionally, yet in a fun and approachable way. I believe that accomplishing this helps everyone appear as relaxed and at ease in front of the camera as possible. 

EXPERIENCE

Because I have a lot of experience and have photographed over 100 weddings, I am able to think quickly and adapt to any situation. I am aware that things don't always go according to plan, but please don't let this worry you, I can quickly adapt.

WHAT IS A REASONABLE AMOUNT TO SPEND ON A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

In the UK for a good photographer to cover the full day, would start from £1,200

HOW LONG IS REASONABLE TO WAIT FOR WEDDING PHOTOS?

Depending if you had your wedding in peak wedding season or not. 3-8 weeks is a quick delivery but can be 4-12 weeks in high season

IS 5 HOURS ENOUGH TIME FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

For an elopement 5 hours is great, otherwise, 5 hours of a wedding day is half a day's coverage. For full-day coverage, a minimum of 10 hours would be needed

WHY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE SO EXPENSIVE?

Equipment is only a small part of this but, the biggest reasons are, experience, a creative eye, the ability to adapt to all lighting and weather conditions, and your experience from enquiry to photos being delivered.
