Wow, today was my first time at Bowburn Hall and wow I had a great time photographing Lewis & Abbie two such lovely people and they picked the perfect venue, yes you guessed there at Bowburn Hall. I had such a great day with them both, and their family and friends, of course, it was such a nice bright sunny day...
I wanted to say thank you again for having me be part of your day guys, it truly was a brilliant day, I loved every second of it.
The Couple
They both like all sorts of music, ranging from cheesy pop to heavy rock, indie to oldies (Elvis, Frank Sinatra, etc.). My favourite band is Kings of Leon and they have been to see them live 3 times! Also, Lewis used to be in a band that covered things like Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, Buzzcocks, etc...
I asked them how they met?
"We never really 'met' for the first time. Our mams have been good friends since they met at a toddler group that I and Lewis brother went to. Lewis also came along to these sometimes (we have some funny old video footage of this). I basically grew up with Lewis's younger brother (best man) Ryan, as we went to school and sixth form together. I only really got to know Lewis when we started seeing each other randomly after speaking on Facebook."
How cool is this they have a tortoise called Rocky that she got when she was 18. Apparently "he's the evilest, annoying tortoise in the world!" They also have a dog called Charlie; he's a cross between a Shihtzu and a poodle.
Lewis asked Abbie to marry him on holiday in Croatia in 2018, at a beautiful place called Plitvice lakes.
They choose Bowburn Hall as their venue because wanted somewhere with an outdoor ceremony option and an indoor option if it's wet, "for a newly refurbished place it's a good deal!"
I ask them why I am their photographer?
"We chose you because we wanted natural photos that capture real moments. After we spoke to you we knew we were happy because we think we'll get on well with you."
Any advice to others planning their wedding?
"my advice for others is don't go spending money on things that aren't necessary and wherever possible ask friends or family to help out. For example, we've had my cousin make our invitations and a family friend make our cake."

My Option 1 is full-day packages starting from £1,250. I do provide a personalised quote if you need just ask.
HOW MUCH IS YOUR DEPOSIT?
My deposit is £300 which will secure your wedding date.
WHEN IS THE FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
The final payment is 30 days before your wedding day.
ARE YOU INSURED AS A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER?
I have £5M in public liability insurance and professional insurance.
