A Lovely Day at The Treebridge Hotel with Jade and Jack
Some weddings feel like a reunion in the best possible way and Jade and Jack’s day at The Treebridge Hotel was exactly that. I first met them at a friend’s wedding I photographed, and after seeing me work and seeing the photos afterwards, they got in touch for their own day. I always take that as the biggest compliment. It just makes everything feel familiar from the moment I arrive.
The Treebridge Hotel is a North Yorkshire venue that has a really relaxed charm to it. Surrounded by countryside and plenty of space to breathe, it is one of those places where guests instantly settle in. Jade and Jack wanted the day to be easy going and full of time with their people and that is exactly how it unfolded.
The morning was full of excitement, laughs and those little moments between friends that always end up being some of my favourite photos. Jade looked incredible, Jack was calm and smiling and had a lot of energy all morning and you could feel how much everyone was looking forward to the ceremony.
The weather could not have been better. Soft light, no rain in sight and just the right temperature to enjoy everything outdoors. It meant we could make the most of the grounds without pulling them away from their guests for too long. A few relaxed portraits here and there, lots of natural candid moments and everything just flowed so easily.
What really stood out with Jade and Jack is how genuinely happy they were all day. Proper smiles, proper laughs and that feeling of being exactly where they wanted to be. They made my job so easy because they didn’t overthink anything. They trusted the process and just enjoyed themselves.
The whole day at The Treebridge Hotel felt warm, laid back and full of life. Photographing the wedding of friends of past couples is always special but this one felt extra lovely. Jade and Jack created a day that felt true to them and I loved being part of it.
If every wedding at The Treebridge Hotel is like this, I will happily come back again and again.
