A Beautifully Unpredictable Day at Newton Hall with Hayleigh and Kieran

Some weddings keep you guessing with the weather and this one at Newton Hall was definitely one of them. Rain showers coming and going, sunshine breaking through at the perfect moments and somehow everything timed itself just right for Hayleigh and Kieran. It honestly felt like the day was on their side.


We started with a few little showers but nothing could dampen the mood. These two were so chilled, happy and completely up for anything which made the whole day flow so smoothly. When the rain eased for the first time we took the chance and headed down to the beach. I am so glad we did because the timing could not have been better. We had soft light, a dry window and that gorgeous Newton-by-the-Sea backdrop that always looks incredible in photos.


Family photos were a must for them and they really wanted them on the steps in front of Newton Hall. The rain tried its best to make that tricky, but once again we waited for the right moment and it worked perfectly. Everyone gathered, we got the shot and the rain started again not long after. Could not have planned it better.


One thing they were really looking forward to was mini golf. They mentioned it during the morning and you could tell how much they wanted to squeeze it in. And somehow, they found another perfect gap in the weather. Off we went and they had the best time playing, laughing and just enjoying themselves. It made for some brilliant candid moments that felt so them.

Then to top off a day full of magically timed dry spells, the sun decided to show up for a sunset. Warm light, beautiful skies and two people still smiling and relaxed as ever. It was the perfect way to end a day that never stopped being fun.


We had a arch moment with the champange tower callusing as they pored but that was more a LOL moment to be honestly just making moments and memories out of everything come rain or shine!


Hayleigh and Kieran were honestly a joy to be around. Laid back, kind and completely trusting. Even with the weather doing its own thing all day, it never once stopped being beautiful. It was a stunning Newton Hall wedding from start to finish and I am so glad I got to be part of it.


If every rainy forecast turned out like this one, I would never worry about the weather again.
